DVD-Cloner is
one of our favorite
programs. This powerful, hassle-free software includes the
latest DVD decryption codes, multiple format compression and DVD
restoration. From exact 1:1 DVD copies to automatic
compression and episode selection, DVD-Cloner also offers a
high level of flexibility and
customization, including multiple language options.
The image
quality is very good. Even with compression, it's very hard to tell
that the movie is compressed. The compression capability is very
important because most DVD's won't fit on single DVD-R unless
compressed. Store bought DVDs are Dual Layer which is why you need to
compress them to get them to fit on the Single Layer DVD-R. DVD-Cloner
can also write to Dual
Layer media which makes for
excellent uncompressed copies.
This software is great for users of all
abilities. With an express, one-step interface, green users
will be able to navigate the software with ease. More
advanced users, however, will be able to take advantage of the many
customizable options including copying by title, chapter, subtitle or
section. In fact, in just a few steps, we were able to
quickly copy DVDs to a number of different formats.
One of DVD-Cloner's most unique
qualities is its ability to
decrypt CSS encryption without additional software or
downloads. Users with a dual layer compatible burner can take
advantage of this feature. If, however, your burner is not
capable of burning to a dual-layer DVD-9 disc you can cut bonus footage
and copy to one disc or split all features onto two discs.
Also bundled with DVD-Cloner is the ability
to convert DVDs to multiple
formats including DVD to AVI, DVD to MPEG and DVD to SVCD with no
additional software or downloads required.
Another great feature of DVD-Cloner is its ability
to recover damaged
DVDs. This is a highly useful tool and definitely one of our
favorite features. This means any scratches or damage to your
DVDs will not be transferred to your copy, leaving you with a copy
better than the original.
