Have you ever tried to download a movie or video file to a blank DVD, so you can stick the disc in your television and watch it later? Then, when you insert the disc, you may be lucky enough to get audio, but you have no picture? The process should be so simple, but it is not. You need a copy Divx to DVD converter. Last year, I paid a subscription fee to a site enabling me to download movies. One flick in particular caught my son’s attention. I downloaded the file directly to my DVD drive. I thought I was so smart. We could watch it together on my computer and then he would have the discs to put into the television to watch whenever he wanted to in the future.
Unfortunately, I was clueless. The discs work fine in my computer, and we enjoyed the picture. But, as soon as he sticks it into the television DVD drive-nothing. He may have gotten some audio, but there is definitely no picture. Darn! What did I do wrong?
I had no idea that the files downloaded on the DVD drive are not compatible to an auxiliary DVD player. Of course the picture worked on my computer. I had the program that would break the code, so I could watch it via my desktop. But, no such program is part of the television, so of course it did not work.
So, the only way to watch the downloaded movie is to use the computer. If it is only you, it might work out, but what if you want to have family movie night? Sitting around a computer screen is not exactly comfortable. After a hard week at school or work, you want to sit in your most comfortable place with a bowl of popcorn and relax to a good movie.
Therefore, you need a copy Divx to DVD converter, so you can copy the video to a regular disc, label it, and have it available to stick in the television anytime you choose. Now you can enjoy your subscriptions to download movies and have your own personal library with movies for every member of the family without tying up the computer.
