Now, imagine if everyone in America felt the same way. Then what? Obviously the situation got big enough to be felt or the companies would not feel the need to encrypt their DVDs. Likewise, as one programmer cracks the code so honest people can make a copy for personal use, the ne’er-do-wells are also doing the same for personal and illegal profit.
Thus, the vicious cycle continues. Decrypters are constantly going off the market as new safeguards are developed. Almost before the new deterrents are implemented, programmers are working fast to crack the code, some for personal use only and others for the dishonest profit.
So, if you go online to find DVD X Copy Platinum version 3.2, you will not find a current copy. Its sale was banned in 2003, and other versions have already come and gone as its replacement.
